The fund hires a local hospitality and service trainer to run a two-day course for staff from the lane's businesses, then a follow-up day three months later. The trainer also writes a simple shared training manual and checklists in English, Konkani and Hindi that each business keeps for onboarding new staff.
Suggested from what Prana Palate said it needs, as something the lane could share. Nobody owns it yet: lead it if you'll organise it, back it if your business wants it too.
- Prana Palate: A trainer and system for local staff
Suggested from what businesses said they need · backed by Prana Palate · ideally ₹40,000
Back this with my businessThe fund pays a part-time local liaison on a yearly retainer (about ₹4,000 a month) to handle trade licences, panchayat NOCs, renewals and other paperwork for every business on the lane, with official fees still paid by each business. The liaison keeps one shared calendar of renewal dates and visits the panchayat for all shops at once, so the lane builds a lasting working relationship with local officials.

- Maker's Asylum P L: A liaisoner who can work with local businesses and the local panchayat to get licenses, paperwork etc.

Back this with my businessThe fund buys one year of a proven CRM such as Zoho CRM, with about four user seats at roughly ₹800 per seat per month (about ₹38,000), plus around ₹12,000 for a local consultant to set it up and train users. Each participating business gets its own seat and pipeline, and they share templates for WhatsApp and email follow-ups and lead-capture forms.

- Bunglowala Real Estate: A CRM software/marketing setup that could be used across similar businesses.

Back this with my business2 proposals businesses have put forward or lead, most backed first, and one of the 3 the AI twin drafted from their needs that nobody leads yet. Tap one to read it; the number is how many businesses back it, and tapping that adds yours.
Behind the page is a digital twin of Goan businesses: a record of each business, what it said it needs, where it sits, and what the government already offers for that kind of thing, drawn from 770 Goa schemes read against every village and town.
An AI drafts proposals from the needs: when two shops say they need a fridge for the season, it writes one proposal for a shared cold store, prices it for Goa, and notes the scheme that could carry part of it. It never decides anything. A draft reaches the ballot only when a business leads it and others back it, and every proposal on this page says whether a person or the twin wrote it.
Before the first real business registered, we put a thousand simulated businesses through this same software and ran whole funding rounds, to see where the rules strain. The write-up is on the blog. The one thing no rule could fix: whether a business approves a plan that funded someone else's item. That is what the first real round will tell us.
Try the part of the twin each owner meets. Every business sets five trade-offs when it registers; two of them are here. Slide, and the draft the twin would show that business first changes, and the map above lights up the businesses it connects.

The fund pays vendors directly. Nothing moves until most of the businesses that vote approve the plan. The bar at the top is the live position.
